Hello, I’m Austin Fabinski. I live in Michigan in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. I graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, with a K-12 Art Education certification. I have been teaching art to all ages since I graduated in 2015. In 2019 I started my Art business to pursue my lifelong dream to become a full-time artist and author.

Now that I am not teaching full time. I spend most of my days in my studio painting and woodburning. I mostly do animals and pets. They are what I find the most joy in doing, but I am always willing to try different things and challenge myself. I tend to work with Watercolor for painting. In 2021 I found my love of wood burning after doing an Instagram challenge. Now I find myself, smelling like a camp fire as I tend to burn everyday.

In 2020 I published my first children’s book Look Up and Create ABC, and started a series of art prompt sketchbooks called 100 Days 100 Drawings. Today, there are 10 different versions of 100 Days 100 Drawings. Each one has different subject matters to meet the need and want of the artist. I did a bunch of art challenges which helped me grow as a person and level up my artistic skills, and I hope to help others with 100 Days 100 Drawings.

My greatest accomplishment has been publishing my novel, Light Walkers A New Dark Guardian. I wrote it in college and it took me to over a decade to publish. I believe all good things come in time and I can happily say, my book has a 5 star rating on amazon. If you like urban vampire fantasy, this is your next binge.

If I am not teaching or painting, I spend my time at the gym, walking my dog, on the lake, or just hanging with friends and family.
